How do I improve my visibility in matches?
If you are approved but not getting matched with families, here are the things that make the biggest difference.
- Profile photo
Sitters with a clear, friendly photo are significantly more likely to be matched. See: How do I take a great profile photo?
- Complete your bio
Your bio should be at least 3 to 4 sentences. Tell families about your experience, why you love working with children, and what makes you reliable. Vague bios get fewer matches.
- Expand your work locations
More suburbs means more potential matches. Even adding 2 to 3 nearby suburbs makes a real difference.
- Update your availability
If your availability is not set or is too narrow, you will not appear in matches. Most families need evening and weekend care — make sure these are included.
- Add qualifications
First aid, CPR, driver's licence, and special needs experience all increase your matchability.
- Set your status to Available
Check your dashboard. If your Work Status is set to Unavailable, you will not appear in any matches.
