# How do I use the panic button?

The Village Co app has a panic button available during active bookings. Use it if you feel unsafe or need immediate support.

How to use the panic button:

1. Open the app during an active booking
2. Go to your active booking screen
3. Tap the support or safety button
4. Select Panic — I need help
5. Our team is alerted immediately

What happens when you press it:

- Our team receives an alert with your name and booking details
- We will contact you as quickly as possible to check on you and provide support
- If we cannot reach you, we will escalate to emergency services if needed

When to use it:

- You feel unsafe in the home
- Something has happened and you need immediate support
- You are in any situation where you feel at risk

You can also call 111 at any time if there is an immediate threat to your safety or a child's safety. Do not wait to press the panic button.
