How do I write a bio that converts?

Your bio is the first thing families read before agreeing to meet you. A strong bio builds trust before the introduction has even happened.

What to include:

  • How long you have been working with children
  • The ages you have experience with
  • What you love about childcare
  • Something specific about your approach (routines, play, activities)
  • A line about reliability and communication

Example bio structure:
"I have been babysitting for [X] years and have experience with children from newborns to school age. I love [specific thing — eg building forts, reading stories, cooking with kids]. Families describe me as warm, reliable, and easy to communicate with. I take bedtime routines seriously and always leave the house as I found it."

What to avoid:

  • Generic phrases like 'I love kids' with nothing specific
  • One or two sentences — aim for at least 3 to 4
  • Anything that sounds copied or corporate

You can update your bio anytime in your app profile.
