Are sitters NZ Police checked?

Yes. Every sitter on The Village Co is required to provide a current NZ Ministry of Justice criminal record check before they are approved.

Details:

• The check is a clean slate criminal history report from justice.govt.nz
• Sitters must provide a current check — older checks are not accepted
• The check is reviewed by our team as part of the six-layer vetting process
• Sitters who cannot provide a satisfactory check are not approved

This is required, not optional. It applies to every sitter on the platform regardless of their experience or qualifications.
